Virgo’s planetary ruler is Mercury and this zodiac season will be dominated by their backward motion in their home sign (it’s an optical illusion, but we experience the slow down and review period from our vantage point).

Self-care for Virgo Season
These will look different depending on what feels right to you:
Routine reset — try dropping some routines, trying new ones, and see what feels aligned.
Social media/phone boundaries — do less, try not to look at your phone for the first hour of the day, delete your most-used apps for a weekend, choose airplane mode.
Earth magic — adorn your home with flowers and plants that hold meaning to you; tend to gardens or house plants with extra focus and care; make infusions, teas, and potions; get your hands in the dirt - make offerings to it, use it in spells.
Kitchen witchery — closely tied to Earth magic, you can use plants in dishes for specific healing or magical properties. Imbue the dishes or drinks you make with intention. Set you intentions, focus on them and speak them as you chop, stir and taste.
Mercury magic — write spells, use tarot cards, candle magic, plants or oils to aid you in Mercurial pursuits like editing (of all kinds), speaking, writing, or traveling.
