Today we’re talking about:
The Full Moon in Leo on February 12th
The aesthetic of it all
Tarot wisdom spread
This full moon is an opportunity to embody your inner diva — and not the misogynist version. The version that knows your talents and inherent worth, prioritizes what you’re passionate about, has bomb dot com taste, allows themselves to be seen, asks for what you want, and genuinely enjoys themselves.
Sunny state of mind
What: Full Moon at 24° Leo ♌️
When: Feb 12th, 8:53 am Eastern U.S. / Feb 13th, 12:53 am AEDT
Who: The Sun ☀️ (as the ruler of Leo) is ruling this moon. The Sun is in the polar opposite sign of Aquarius, technically in their exile.
The Sun in Aquarius reminds us of the collective that’s served by us being genuine, loving, and doing our thing (what we love, what we’re good at) in service of something bigger.
Also, Uranus could throw in some extra drama.
They’re in Taurus squaring this full moon and the sun. This brings the elements of surprise, intensity, and lightening bolt moments.
Reflections:
Look back to early August (and the New Moon in Leo on August 4th) for clues as to what story’s playing out and how it’s coming to fruition now.
What was sparked in early December when Mars (the warrior, the motivation, the strategist) stationed retrograde in Leo?
How can you be inspired by the sun (warm, extra, and consistent) to show up differently?
How can you play more?
The Mardi Gras Moon
I always think of this as the Mardi Gras full moon. Mardi Gras season (which goes way longer than just Fat Tuesday) is always in full swing at this point in the year, and when we lived in New Orleans I was always dressing up in the most Leo-ass stuff at this full moon.
Head to toe gold sequins, bright wigs, glitter — the more the better. Then it’s music, dancing, friends, and community till your heart’s content. The focus is on joy, creativity, and vibrancy.
The thing about Leo is: they don’t do things by halves. It’s ALL in baby. If it’s not a hell yes, it’s a hell no.
So no more watering yourself down. If you’re looking for the inspiration or an excuse to go balls-to-the-wall on your creative practices, self-expression, style, leadership, or self-love — let this moon be it.
Let’s go diva.

The Aesthetic
Diva meets inner child dressing. Serving c*nt and accepting responsibility. Sequins, big hair, sunshine hues, and feline prints.
Bold colors, dramatic silhouettes, romantic vibes, cinematic looks, statement pieces. Dopamine dressing x disco chic. Adorned & adored. GOLD >
Style motto: It’s more fun to have fun.
The 7 of Wands
Associated with the Mars in Leo, and the 3rd decan of Leo (where this full moon is taking place.)
You’re being asked to get out in front and fight for what’s important. Mars in Leo asks us how and for what purpose can we be leaders?
It can be overwhelming, though. Determine what your priorities are, lest you get lost in the efforting. Take a breather, take responsibility for what you’re working towards, and let go of the rest.
You might feel defensive or like it’s an uphill battle. Sometimes it’s truly two steps forward, one step back. We can feel external pressures (like competition or scrutiny) more acutely right now. Pick your battles — you can’t do it all.
Reflection: Is the juice worth the squeeze? What’s worth fighting for? What’s not?
